Longfellow Elementary school was where I spent the first third of my pre-college education. For reasons unbeknownst to me at the time, the administration felt it was time to throw an International Awareness night. They dressed up everyone in clothing from other nations and we learned to play the xylophone. I don't recall the song now, but I do remember we played it so many times that I've never touched another xylophone since. I can still cross my eyes like this, but only if you ask nicely.
